Job Context

Unnayan Sangha (US) is a non-government, non-political and non-profitable organization working since 1980 to serve the socio-economically disadvantaged people for their socio-financial and cultural development expecting their better and prosperous life. The organization is going to implement “Socio Economic Empowerment with Dignity and Sustainability (SEEDS) ” Project at Islampur and Dewangonj and Bakshigonj upazilas under Jamalpur district in partnership with Stromme Foundation Bangladesh. For implementing the project the organization is inviting applications from the qualified candidates against the posts mentioned in the table below-

Job Responsibilities

• The Upazila Coordinator (UC) will responsible for overall implementation of the Project’s activities in the local area coordinating.. He/she will also supervise 04 Field Facilitator.
• She/he will be representing the project in the Upazila level including effective communication with Government officials especially Upazila Education officer Agriculture, Fisheries, youth development, livestock etc.
• The Upazila Coordinator is accountable for the successful delivery of the goal and outcomes of the project and will prepare progress report.
• She/he will support the Project Manager in planning, budget preparation, training & workshops facilitation; prepare all reports and document properly on time and all other required activities to ensure smooth operations of the project. S/he will also be responsible for managing the field level implementation of the project.

Educational Requirements

• Master degree in Social Sciences with Minimum of 5 years working experiences in project coordination.

Experience Requirements

• At least 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  NGO

Additional Requirements

• Age at most 45 years
• Both males and females are allowed to apply
• Good time management skills.
• Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
• She/he should have a valid motor cycle driving license
